Updated

This policy explains how DryVanDispatch ("we") handles information on this website. We dispatch dry vans for carriers; we're not a broker, lender or insurance agency. Questions or requests: reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

When you apply for dispatch (the application, the header quick apply or the contact form), we collect what you type in:

  • Your name, mobile phone and email
  • Your MC or DOT number and authority status
  • Equipment details: trailer length and type, number of trucks
  • Home base or preferred lanes, best time to call and any notes or message
  • Your agreement to be contacted

Automatically, with each form submission, we record the page you came from, the referring website, first-visit campaign tags (UTM parameters) if your link had them, a general device type and the time. We don't record your full IP address in our lead records; it's used briefly to limit abuse.

Calculators and checklists: what you type into our calculators stays in your browser. It isn't sent to us. Result links put your inputs in the page address so you can share them; anyone you share a link with can see those numbers. The documents checklist on the how-it-works page is stored only in your browser.

Why we use it

  • To contact you about dispatch services by phone, text and email, as you agreed on the form
  • To check your carrier authority on public FMCSA records before we call
  • To set up and run dispatch if you become a customer
  • To understand which pages help people, in aggregate
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for others' advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use service providers to run the site and handle your submission, under their own security terms:

  • Hosting and content delivery for the website
  • Email delivery to send your submission to our team and a confirmation to you
  • Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), which checks that a form is filled in by a person
  • Privacy-friendly analytics that measures page visits without advertising cookies

If you become a customer, we share the details needed to book and haul loads (for example, your MC number and insurance certificate in broker carrier packets) with the brokers and shippers you approve.

Cookies and browser storage

  • A first-party cookie called dvd_utm remembers how you first arrived (campaign tags and landing page) for 30 days, so we can see which pages lead to applications.
  • Your application answers are saved in your browser's session storage while you fill in the form, so a reload doesn't lose them. They're cleared when you submit or close the tab.
  • The documents checklist is saved in your browser's local storage.
  • We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep application and contact details while we're talking with you about dispatch and, if you become a customer, for as long as we provide service and need records for accounting or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your details at any time; we'll do so unless we're required to keep them.

Your choices and rights

  • Stop texts by replying STOP. Stop calls or emails by asking us.
  • Access, correct or delete your information by contacting us through our contact page.
  • State privacy rights: depending on where you live, state laws (for example in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and other states) may give you rights to know what we hold, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

We send form data over encrypted connections and limit access to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't put sensitive financial information in a message.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
